Great Meadowbrook Farm Information

Questions, comments or helpful information for the ballot question to be held on January 7, 2023 from Noon-7 p.m. regarding the proposed racetrack location at 228 Barre Road can be submitted to:
Deadline to submit any information is Monday, December 12, 2022 at 5 p.m.

The Board of Selectmen held meetings on Zoom on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday November 29.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission convened an adjudicatory hearing relative to whether to grant the application of Commonwealth Equine and Agricultural Center LLC for a license to hold or conduct a new racing meeting in Hardwick. The hearingtook place on Monday, November 14, 2022 and can be watched on YouTube.
Prior to the meeting the Town Clerk received a petition notification 128A § 13A which has been taken into account.

No on-street parking from 10 pm - 6 am
OR anytime if it's snowing or during snow removal (includes municipal parking lots/parks)
Exceptions: High St. – side with the houses; Bridge St. – side along Bridge Ct.;
Taylor St. – side along the houses; Convent St. – along the right side as you pull down;
Mechanic St. – Cumberland Farms side of the street

Recycling Center Stickers for Fiscal Year 2023 are available for purchase until June 30, 2023. ($55 for town residents; $90 for out of town) Your sticker can be purchased at the Recycling Center during normal business hours.  A current sticker is required to use the facility. The Hardwick Recycling Center will be closed on the following federal holidays: Christmas Day, New Years Day, Independence Day, and Veterans Day when the actual holiday occurs on a Wednesday or Saturday.

You must act quickly and assertively to minimize the damage to your good name and credit history.

There have been multiple reports of Unemployment Fraud, whereby people have filed for benefits under someone else's name. If you think this has happened to you, click here to report it to the State, and you must also inform the Hardwick PD.
