Board of Registrars
The Hardwick Board of Registrars is seeking an individual to fill a vacant poposition on the Board of Registrars on an as-needed basis. Finance Committee Member
The Town of Hardwick is seeking registered voters to serve on the Town’s Finance Committee. The Finance Committee is the principal financial advisor to the Town Meeting and is a deliberative, rather than a decision-making body. Finance Committee responsibilities are set forth in Massachusetts General Law Chapter 39, §16 and Town by-laws. The Finance Committee is also charged with managing the Town's appropriated Reserve Fund in which the Committee votes to disburse money from this fund, upon the request of the Board of Selectmen, when unforeseen or extraordinary events occur. The purpose of this position is to coordinate all aspects of the town’s recycling program and to perform supervisory, administrative and manual labor work directing the operations of the Hardwick Recycling Center. Performs all other related work as required. The Recycling Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under his/her direction and control. Oversees all recycling activities to ensure that they are properly performed and follow all environmental and other laws and regulations.

Truck Driver/Laborer - Highway Department
The purpose of this position is to assist in providing maintenance on Highway Department vehicles and equipment, and to operate heavy and light motor equipment and operate highway trucks and plows, mowing, trimming and perform manual work on construction, maintenance or repair projects of the Highway Department; all other related work as required.
Preferred candidate would have experience in highway/roadway maintenance and construction, including heavy equipment operation. Applicants must possess a valid C.D.L. Class B License with airbrake endorsement and a valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License Class 2A. Should an applicant without these licenses be considered, the individual must obtain the licenses within (6) six months of employment.

Part Time Laborer - RECYCLING CENTER
The Hardwick Board of Selectmen is seeking qualified applicants to fill a part-time laborer position at the Recycling Center. Hours are Wednesdays 9 - 11a.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. - Noon.
