The Commission is seeking a seventh member to fill a vacancy on the board. If you are interested in knowing about the commission’s work, contact Emily Bancroft at (413) 967-4002.

Additionally, the Historical Commission is working on a booklet of hidden historical sites in town and would welcome information and location of any that townspeople would know .

A spectacular stone arch bridge was built over Muddy Brook. The view from the north shows the beautiful construction method. The view from the south shows some of the destruction that was supposedly caused by flood waters from the Hurricane of 1939.
